Years ago I used to worry I’d miss out on the latest craze. I didn’t buy an explosive stock. I missed out on some business schemes. I didn’t get the right degree, buy my first house early enough or jump on any number of bandwagons promising to “get me there quick.”
Instead, I took the advice of steadily successful people I knew: Work more on yourself every day and you’ll have more than enough for your whole life.
Fast forward to today: I just read about a booming market where “investors” are using real-world capital to buy up “virtual land” in the digital metaverse - a place where people will go to “simulate” real-life using ethereal currencies.
Read that again.
Then take a deep breath and reaffirm for yourself that there’s nothing to worry about. Keep investing - in yourself. Keep it real - with yourself and others. Keep your eye on the prize - a full life in which how you really think, what you really do and where you really put your efforts -
Matters.
You’re going to be just fine.
Real-ly.
